Charlotte/Arrowwood... nice town as far as I can tell, not that I was doing a lot of sightseeing.

How much more costly is Amtrak? I think I could've coughed up, say, a 50% premium on Greyhound advance purchase, and I am ISIC-eligible and a full-time student. The train always sounded saner but Greyhound is dirt cheap.
