Here I was thinking that us being at ground-level would bring us trick-or-treaters. We have all this candy, and no kids trick-or-treating on our street.

Boo.

Must resist the urge to nibble too much.

I agree! It seems like no one really goes out anymore. I got three girls tonight--that's IT. I thought I didn't have any candy for them but I won a yard of taffy today at work (wrapped candies in a yard-long plastic tube) so I gave them some of that. Trick-or-treaters: 3; cute little people that come to the door and cry when you say "What a cute costume!": 0.

there's tons o' kids in our area... but they don't waste time on the row houses... they head straight for the semi-detached/detached houses.
