crystallizing
Jun. 22nd, 2004 10:58 pmI have my apartment situation sorted out for next year -- roommate to replace me, roommate to fill in at the new place. He’s personable, a fellow math student, honest, practical, and has seen my place so he knows what level of chaos to expect.
Bureaucratic stuff creaks forward -- sorted out some software licensing, inched closer to official confirmation of my M.Sc. plans, and graduated along with 700 other arts and science types a while back (I was distracted -- it took a while to mention).
Working on the UI for the prototype, while my “no prototype, no shave” beard grows in some more.
Went and spent some hard-earned money on pants, a book, some music and a couple of dress shirts for weddings and conferences.
I’ve been periodically squeezing a frisbee and straining my bound wrists against my belt -- as physiotherapy for my rotator cuff (a part of my shoulder I didn’t know existed), as suggested by the wise, helpful and much-less-intimidating-than-I-was-braced-for Mrs. Mak.
Hope everyone’s first full day of summer was a good one.
...
Hmm... all my mood penguins are wearing glasses. I don’t wear glasses. Weird.
