It depends on for/with what, of course. I do like barleywines on their own when I can find someone to share them with, but with food, there are, as you say, so many. Kilkenny, Lezajsk, Czechvar, and Innis & Gunn are all fairly available ones I like. Samichlaus is a nice treat, and also does neat things in S's Texas red chili. La Trappe's Quadrupel is hard to find and needs to be shared. Duchesse de Bourgogne is probably the least typical-of-me beer I drink.
