metawidgetCleaned out all those applications designed for hardware I don't have or that looked neat at the time but never got the shareware fee or usage I expected to give them. Total flush-age: 0.45 GB. That's a lot of text files and work, or about 9 1/2 albums' worth of music in AAC.
One of those reminders that although a hardware upgrade would be nice, periodic maintenance is where it's at.
