Heh, I was just commenting on your entry, rather than fishing for the meme thing. I figured meeting me exactly once would make this rather difficult, but you did give me a vibe that you might be someone that I'd find interesting. A bit early to say, though. :-)

Stallman's pet gnu? LOL! Considering how annoying I find the man, that's quite hilarious! I guess I'm one of these pragmatic "open source software" people rather than an idealistic "free software" person. I think we need the latter around, as they seem to provide some beacon to look at, but using their bloody software (Debian's "it doesn't work at all, but it's free so you could fix it" being better than "it's closed, but working good and well-maintained" policy, for example) and talking to them (or any other kind of zealot-type people) generally irks me.

I didn't even know what the COMS is, I had to google it up! I'm just some guy, really. I know some number of people who go at or went at Concordia, but not particularly COMS or another program (although I used to know a few people in the IT department there, the IITS I think it's called). I never went to any university, myself.
