I've had a recurring dream where I'm driving along in a car, and then suddenly realize that I'm in the passenger seat and reaching over to operate the controls. I realize "I shouldn't be doing this, I should get in the driver's seat before someone notices," and struggle to get over to the driver's seat. Other stuff might happen, too, but that's the part I remember.

I've had recurring dreams where I'm driving a car from the back set, or at least trying to drive from the back seat. There's usually some degree of losing control/etc. going on as well.

It could be fairly literal - you've been driving more often than usual, lately. Do you feel uncomfortable about that in any way?

Or it could be an indication that you're not comfortable 'being in the driver's seat.'It's interesting that you're worried about what other people will think, rather than worrying about your own safety or endangering others. Which says to me that you're probably doing a better job than you think :)
