Trees, rocks, Oscar pictures

We went for a walk this afternoon in the woods across the parkway, and took a few pictures:






Oscar has also added toys to his list of things he can grab — he has soft duck and elephant rattles that he's enjoying now. A lot of his infant reflexes seem to be fading when he's awake: if he sucks, it's cause he wants to, and if sucking is not what he wants, he'll push offered fingers or nipples away and turn his head to dodge them. Cute Moro flailing can still be had when he's asleep, though.

my darling husband imitated josie's moro reflex all the time for like a month, just to make fun of her. he did a pretty good impression! plus we got an early start on taunting our daughter, which is the way it should be.

oscar's a cutie. that last picture cracks me up. he's kinda got that "really this is it?" look going on.
