bikes on ice, kids on dads…

I got in my January bike ride last week: a grocery run on that merciful day when the streets were pretty much clear from the melt — Wednesday, I think. Eleven months to go, with February and March being the only hard ones (I hope).
It's been a while since I've posted an Oscar photo.
Oscar, a couple of days ago, all dressed up in a sweater from commodorified and a blueberry balaclava from
moonlightjoy — he's lucky to be born into a circle that contains many generous and talented knitters!
Oscar on me, and Cora (almost 2 years old) on her dad Marc — we had Marc, Marlene and Cora over for dinner last night; they've been one of our "this is what to expect" families due to that little age gap. Marc was also the experienced brains of the operation in the nursery flooring saga. Cora continues to be fascinated by Pixel, and seems now to be a little fascinated by Oscar (but not as much as by Pixel "the gatito").
Oscar is over 15 pounds and figuring out new tricks at his usual pace: he can sometimes scootch forward a bit, and can definitely move laterally by rolling. We're still waiting for that first tooth… the drooliness and occasional grumpiness says it's on the way somewhere.
