Who does your domain name registration? How much are they? Are they any good? I'm kind of tired of GoDaddy and would like to move my registration to someone a little less sleazy and more local.

Gandi, which is French and so not exactly more local, but worked perfectly fine for our wedding domain.

I've used ecohosting.net for years. They're based in Laval and they donate a percentage of your fee to a non-profit (they host non-profits for free).

if you want something almost free ($8) you can try my.yola.com which is owned by Google, I believe. My newest website is with them.

domainsatcost.ca are local and cheap, as well - based out of Nepean. I've had my domains there for over ten years at this point.
