Cleaned out all those applications designed for hardware I don't have or that looked neat at the time but never got the shareware fee or usage I expected to give them. Total flush-age: 0.45 GB. That's a lot of text files and work, or about 9 ¹/₂ albums' worth of music in AAC.

One of those reminders that although a hardware upgrade would be nice, periodic maintenance is where it's at.

Yeah, even though I constantly lust after a bigger hard drive, my 20GB has served me well and allows ample space for my games and such, so long as I clean out the useless programs every so often... I think I'll probably last another two years, at which point I'll be due to just buy a new box anyhow...
